Accounts¶
Accounts are the farm's main asset. Losing them through haste hurts more and costs more than anything else, so don't rush here.
Buy or register?¶
- Buy ready-made ones. The most convenient option: registering a hundred accounts takes a lot of time. But it's unsafe: sellers often take sold accounts back via the email or account recovery. Buy from trusted sellers and immediately change the password, email and Steam Guard to your own.
- Register them yourself. Slow, but the accounts are definitely yours and nobody will take them away.
Registering by hand¶
The goal is for the accounts not to look like they were created by one person from one computer.
Network. Don't register everything from your home IP. Mobile internet is the easiest: share it from your phone to the PC, and toggle airplane mode to change the IP. Change the IP after every account. Registering several accounts from one IP is undesirable: the best option is 1 IP (proxy) per account.
Browser. Each batch needs a clean profile without old cookies and history. The easiest way is Chrome's guest mode: it wipes everything when closed. When you change the IP, close the guest window and open a new one.
Emails. Every account needs its own email. Use reliable providers: Gmail, Outlook, iCloud. Don't register all accounts on one domain. Outlook addresses are hard to create in bulk by hand, so they're usually bought ready-made.
Unreliable emails = ban risk
Don't save on emails. Steam bans accounts on shady email services: for example, there were bans of accounts on firstmail.ltd emails.
maFile. Link the mobile authenticator right after registration and from the same IP the account was created from.
Pace. Register gradually, not a hundred in one evening. Write down each account right away: login, password, email, Prime purchase date.
Tracking and bulk actions¶
When you have dozens or hundreds of accounts, a spreadsheet becomes inconvenient. That's what CRUX MANAGER is for — a separate program (not the panel) for bulk account actions: importing logins and maFiles, balances, inventories, trades, buying games and keys, selling on the market. Passwords and secrets are stored encrypted.
Proxies are needed exactly for these bulk actions — logins, trades, purchases and sales, so that hundreds of accounts don't hit Steam from one IP. The accounts play without proxies.
maFile¶
Connect the Steam Guard mobile authenticator right away and save the maFile (the authenticator file). Without it the panel and the manager can't confirm trades on their own, and you won't be able to recover access. maFiles are obtained via SDA (Steam Desktop Authenticator).
Prime¶
Without Prime status the account doesn't get the weekly drop, so it's a mandatory purchase. You can buy it in different ways: directly in Steam, via gift codes or by topping up the balance. The price varies a lot by region.
Prime prices by region
In our dashboard dash.cruxpanel.com you can track the Prime price in different regions and buy where it's cheaper right now.
Warm-up¶
Warm-up is everything that makes an account look like a real player rather than a fresh farm "blank":
- a filled-in profile and avatar;
- buying games: the first purchase on the account should not be CS Prime. Buy some cheap game first, and only then Prime. Games with Steam trading cards are the best choice: if you farm and sell the cards, the game's price pays off partially or fully;
- some time in other games;
- some farmers farm Steam trading cards on the side: it's both warm-up and a small income.
The more natural the account looks, the more safely it farms.
Security in Crux Panel
The built-in spoofer gives every account unique PC characteristics: HWID, MAC address, disk serial numbers, GPU model. From the outside, the accounts look like players on different computers.
