What is CS2 farming¶
If you have never farmed before, start here. This section is short and to the point: how farming works, what to prepare and how to avoid costly mistakes at the start. Once you get it, move on to setting up the panel.
How it works¶
Every week a CS2 account with Prime status gets a reward for playing: a case, a skin or a graffiti of your choice. The week resets on Wednesday. To get the reward, the account has to earn XP, that is, play matches.
One account doesn't make much. The point of a farm is volume: dozens and hundreds of accounts play out their week, and the drop is then sold.
You can't do that by hand. That's what Crux Panel is for: it runs the account queue by itself, plays matches in several windows at once, collects the drop and sends reports to Telegram.
Farming modes¶
- Deathmatch and Arms Race are available right away on any Prime account.
- Wingman 2×2 and Competitive 5×5 require account level 2 in CS2. You can level it up manually or right through the panel.
Choose the mode deliberately: the farming mode also affects the ban risk. Every farmer has their own opinion on which mode is safer, but at the moment we recommend Deathmatch and Arms Race.
Valve vs farms¶
Valve regularly comes up with new ways to choke farmers: bans, trade restrictions, tracking links between accounts. So approach the farm with a plan instead of brute force.
The main beginner mistake is sending the whole drop from hundreds of accounts to one storage account every week. This links all accounts together through a single point, and the whole farm can get hit at once. The right way is covered in Collecting and withdrawing the drop.
The farmer's path¶
-
1. Hardware
What to farm on and how many windows your PC can handle.
-
2. Remote access
How to control the farm from your phone or another PC.
-
3. Accounts
Buying or registering, Prime, maFile and warm-up.
-
4. Collecting and withdrawing the drop
How to safely turn the drop into money.
-
5. Useful software
SDA, SIH, Mem Reduct and other farmer software.
-
6. How not to get banned
Rules that lower the ban risk.
Unfamiliar words like "storage account", "shirp" or "maFile" are explained in the glossary.
Start small
Don't buy a hundred Primes right away. Run 5–10 accounts, go through the full cycle from farming to withdrawal, and only then scale up. This way you'll see the real profitability on your hardware.
